P1-7 bulletin: Friday 28th May 2021

Happy Friday everyone! And the sun is out!

Parent / teacher phone calls – it was good to talk

We hope you found this week’s teacher phone calls as productive as we did. The teachers all commented on how good it was to speak with so many of you, to talk about your child and their learning. Please remember that, as a school, we are always at the end of the phone or email; just get in touch.

Ready for anything – come rain or shine

Please continue to send your child ‘ready for anything’. The sunshine is welcome but the clouds still loom so please send a coat every day and consider a sun hat with sun cream too. Thank you.

Primary 7 staycation – a week of fun to mark the end of primary

Next week sees our primary 7 classes enjoy a week ‘off timetable’ to embark in a range of fun activities and challenges. It is normally a rite of passage to go on a residential adventure camp but, unfortunately, this could not happen. Instead, our pupils will enjoy mountain biking, orienteering, game design, a town trail, a campfire and even a beach trip, among other sessions. Look out for photos on our Facebook page.

P4-7 iPad update

As per the recent Groupcall, please can you support your child to carry out the software update on their iPad. Thank you for your help and patience!

Breakfast club – monies owed

For all families accessing or who have previously accessed breakfast club, please can you check your ParentPay balance as there are a number of outstanding payments due. Thank you.

Classes for August – an update

We are very close to finalising arrangements for August, having received final confirmation about some staffing details. We hope to be able to share news about your child’s new class and teacher over the next week or so. The children will then enjoy a ‘meet my new teacher’ session before the end of term. Thank you for your patience as we finalise our plans.
