This Friday is BBC ‘Children in Need’ day and the theme is ‘Do Your Thing’. We believe that it is important for our pupils to be involved in something ‘bigger’ than themselves and so, as a school, we are going to ‘do our thing’ – we are going to attempt to walk 300 miles! (This only actually needs each of us to walk 1 mile but the total will be spectacular!) The event will raise awareness of Children in Need as an organisation and the positive change it makes to the lives of many people across the UK.
PLEASE NOTE – our event is NOT a fundraiser. We are NOT asking for any donations, we just want our children to get involved in this national event. If you would like to contribute to the national fundraising, we’d encourage you to do so through the various channels offered by Children in Need itself.
If anyone would like to join us for our 300 mile challenge, please come along on Friday morning at 11am and help us ‘do our thing’.
