On Tuesday 15th May we held a Careers Day where we welcomed 19 visitors representing a range of careers and local businesses. Children from Primaries 1-3 enjoyed a variety of practical activities and listened to our visitors talking about a typical day at work. Primary 4 and 5 interviewed their visitors to find out about their career and what skills they use every day. In our afternoon session, Primary 6 and 7 enjoyed a carousel activity where they spoke to several people working in variety of jobs.
We would like to thank the visitors for coming to Edenside to inspire the children and further enhance their knowledge of employment opportunities and skills for learning, life and work. Have a look at the “speed dating” photos where P6 & P7 moved around the visitors.
