Red Nose Day – Friday 24 March 2017

This year Edenside Primary School is raising money for Red Nose Day 2017.

We are going to be telling jokes in class throughout the week and a selection of the best will be shared during assembly on Friday 24th March.

Those children who have pre-ordered and paid for a red nose will be given it on the day.  The type of red nose received cannot be requested as it will be a lucky dip on the day.  Noses cost £1 and must be paid for by Friday 3rd March, to allow us to order them from Comic Relief.

All extra donations on the day will be gratefully received.

The money we raise will help people living really tough lives in the UK and across Africa. For example, £2.50 could buy a mosquito net to protect a family in Africa. In the UK, £5 could pay for an isolated elderly person with dementia to have dinner at their local support group. On their behalf, thank you.

We will also be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity to help our pupils explore the issues facing young children across the world, and how the money we raise can help.

We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping Edenside Primary School raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.
